The Clean Label Project™ is a national nonprofit dedicated to promoting truth and transparency in food and consumer product labeling. The Clean Label Project™ tests for 200+ toxins and contaminants, and verifies product labeling for accuracy.
Products undergo a strict review by the United States Department of Agriculture of their full supply chain – farming, sourcing, handling, and processing. Raw ingredients must be free of GMOs, antibiotics, herbicides, and toxic chemicals and can’t be grown with synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or sewage sludge.
Environmental Working Group is a nonprofit that reviews and ranks products and ingredients so consumers can be aware and make more informed purchase decisions.
The first nontoxic certification in America verifying that finished products (in a wide array of categories) are made from a base of materials, components, and ingredients not known to harm human health or the environment.

No such thing as too safe
When it comes to the products you put on your baby's skin, the smallest things can have a big impact. That's why we thoroughly test every batch to make sure our formulas are stable, hypoallergenic and free of contaminants, heavy metals and harmful bacteria. We even test packaging compatability to make sure it doesn't alter the formula in any way. All of these are just a few of the small steps we're taking to give families greater peace of mind when seeking out gentle skincare for your little ones.

Caring for families is at the core of our business and why we started EllaOla. We wanted to provide parents and their babies with the best products for their delicate skin.
In collaboration with Harvard Dermatology and co-directed by our Scientific Advisory Board Member Dr. Jennifer Tan, the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) provides onsite access to dermatologic care for underserved families.
